Unigloves is one of the largest manufacturers of disposable products for the dental, medical, nursing, hospital sectors and for the industry. Our manufacturing company is N. S. UNI- Gloves in Malaysia. We have marketing offices in over 10 countries in the world including Nigeria, Singapore, UK, USA, Germany, China, Brazil, Australia, Canada and Japan. We supply a wide range of cross infection control products. We make and supply over 3 billion gloves annually to medical professionals, as well as specialists in the food, automotive, janitorial and care sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager - Endoscopy

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As Business Development Manager - Endoscopy, you will be responsible for selling products in the portfolio directly to hospitals, diagnostic centers, and ambulatory surgery centersand work with nursing professionals and physicians at all levels in GI endoscopy, and operating room departments.
  • We are seeking a sales professional with a “hunter mentality” focused on prospecting, generating interest, quickly uncovering sales opportunities, leveraging existing accounts, and closing new business within an assigned territory.
  • In addition, the BDM – Endoscopy will provide customer-specific account management and coordination, resulting in best-in-class customer service, customer retention, and organic sales growth within existing accounts.
  • This role reports directly to the Business Manager - Endoscopy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • In close cooperation with the Business Manager – Endoscopy, develop a Sales Strategy for the territory to ensure achievement of agreed financial targets.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Driving incremental revenue through successful sales activities
  • Develop new and grow existing relationships with clinical staff, nurses, and physicians; leverage customer relationships to increase sales revenue in the territory.
  • Identify and create tender opportunities in the region by close collaborations with end-users and key stake-holders.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within an existing portfolio of customers across all markets and products.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences in the territory as assigned.
  • Work with Business Manager – Endoscopy, to coordinate sales opportunities and relationship development in territory.
  • Demonstrates outstanding product knowledge and can impart knowledge to the larger national sales team via cross-functional collaboration.
  • Monitors and reports competitor activity including products/services offered, and pricing.
  • Maintain high level of product knowledge of products in portfolio.
  • Prioritize goals in the sales territory based on customer and company needs.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and pricing with customers.
  • Prepare accurate and updated weekly and monthly pipeline data for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Generate sales leads through online research, industry networking and cold calling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Demonstrated track record of performing above quota.
  • 3-4 years of medical sales experience is required with at least 2 years selling endoscopy products.
  • Positive attitude and a highly competitive drive.
  • Dedication to continual self-improvement through frequent feedback and coaching.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • This position requires up to 50% travel, with frequent travel outside the local area and overnight.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite; excel, word and power point a must.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
