Job Description

• Drive business growth and actively lead the marketing department to achievebusiness development goals
• Manages the marketing department and their abilities to maximise performance potential.
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the bank’s customer base.
• Identify market trends and conduct market research to identify selling possibilities, consumer behaviour and customer needs.
• Measure the performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against set goals
• Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with sales strategy
• Design and coordinate promotional campaigns and other marketing efforts
• Monitor performance progress through periodic reports and assessments.
• Define marketing strategies to support the bank’s overall strategies and objectives
• Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
• Develop market segmentation, competitive analysis,
• market intelligence, and prospecting.
• Oversee the development of new products.
• Build highly efficient and performance-driven marketing professionals
• Ensure the achievement of the performance target and strategic objectives
• Supervise and appraise business unit heads within the group

Experience and Core Competencies

• B.Sc. / HND in a relevant discipline
• MBA / MSc, MCP will be added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in financial services
• Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
• Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
• Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
• Strong marketing and public relations skills
• Good team player with excellent leadership traits
• Innovative and creative
