Job Title: Shop Manager

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full time, on-site role for a Shop Manager at a hair store loacated in Jabi, Abuja. The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing daily shop operations, including Managing staff, overseeing inventory, providing exeptional customer service, ensuring the shop's profotability and achieving sales targets.
• The Shop manager will also contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase the shop's awareness and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the shop.
• Inventory management.
• Procurement and maintaining stock levels.
• Handling customer enquiries, concerns and complaints effectively.
• Build and manage relationship with clients and customers.
• Familiarity with latest haircare trends and techniques, ability to offer advice and recommendations on wigs, hairstyles and hair care products
• Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies to create awareness and promote products and services.
• Knowledge of promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Prepare monthly detailed report of activities.
• Monitor, supervise and mange staff.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Relevant Degree or experience in a related field.
• minimum of 5 years workingexperience as a shopmanager preferably in the haircare industry.
• Proven experience as a shopmanager in a beauty shop orsaloon.
• Good knowledge of haircare products, trends and styles.
• Ability to make wigs and other hairstyles is an added advantage.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Management skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience with inventory management and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and attain profitability goals.
• Familiarity with POS and other payment systems relevant retail business.
• Handling customer enquiries, concerns and complaints effectively.
• Ability to build and manage relationship with clients and customers.
• Preferably Female.
