Job Title: Hydraulic Workover Rig Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Inspect new well location site, roads, pipelines, water well location, road, camp power line crossing, and ensure they are within acceptable limit.
• Check & report wellhead process, check type and size of wellhead flanges,
• check permanent surface equipment constraints on the well site.
• Supervise the daily activities on the rig to ensure interruption, efficiency of the operations
• Ensure the accuracy and review of the drillers' daily reports log, kill sheets and trip sheets.
• Monitor crew change and prepares timesheet
• Plan for the up coming operations and activities then issue work instructions
• Ensure safety guideline are being followed at all times while moving the rig and related equipment to the new well locations
• Organize and supervise all operational activities on the rig and witness setting of the main camp, participation in toolbox talk, JHA review and planned drill exercise
• Manage all the resources on the rig in the most efficient proficient and cost effective way
• Champion/participate in AAR with the team after demobilization before proceeding to time-off
• Ensure proper handover to the next crew is done-documented evidence
• send daily report to Rig Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND., B.Eng. Degree,
• Masters will be as added advantage
• Minimum Experience: 8 years’ experience in Hydraulic Workover Unit Operations
• IWCF Level 4
• BOISET
• OSP

Job Specific Skills:

• In depth knowledge of safety procedure in petroleum industry
• Leadership and team building abilities
• Ability to lead a drilling tea, delegate task and motivate team member to achieve the set objective
• Help to troubleshoot HWU and it axillary equipment
• Stand in for jack operator
• Good computer skill
• Report writing skill

Remuneration
N600,000 - N700,000 monthly.
