Job Title: Assistant Store Keeper

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Reports To: Store Manager
Department: Workshop

Job Summary

• The candidate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the stores appearance and organization.
• The candidate may also be responsible for tasks such as inventory management, sales promotions, and other administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities

• To procure, store, and issue supplies in a supply operation;
• Process and maintain inventory records
• Modify and implement inventory control and disposal procedures; perform related work.
• Control the stock of equipment.
• Carrying out basic maintenance of the store, ensuring security conditions
• Preparing outgoing items in a clean and optimized way by appropriately packing, sealing and labelling goods
• Assisting with recording the exits on stock cards and project form, and ensuring good quality of cold chain when needed
• Keeping the store fully stocked
• Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions
• Delivering exceptional sales services for improved customer satisfaction
• Interacting with customers and identifying their needs and preferences.

• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of stocked merchandise
• Experience in inventory management, bookkeeping and conflict resolution.
