Job Description

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Professional Fashion Designer and Tailor specializing in Bridal Dresses and Suits to join our creative team.
• As a key member of our design and production department, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, cutting, and sewing exquisite bridal dresses and suits that exceed our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.
• Conceptualize and create original designs for bridal dresses and suits that align with our brand aesthetic and meet client expectations.
• Develop patterns based on approved designs, taking into account fit, drape, and construction techniques.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in pattern making to achieve desired garment proportions and silhouette.
• Identify and source high-quality fabrics, trims, and materials suitable for bridal dresses and suits.
• Prepare fabrics for cutting, ensuring proper layout and utilization to minimize waste.
• Utilize advanced sewing techniques and craftsmanship to construct bridal dresses and suits according to design specifications.
• Execute precise stitching, seams, and finishes to achieve professional-quality garments.
• Conduct fittings with clients to assess garment fit and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform alterations as needed to ensure garments fit the client's body shape and proportions perfectly.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections of finished garments to ensure they meet design specifications, fit standards, and quality expectations.
• Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain the integrity of the final product.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the design and production team, including designers, pattern makers, and sample makers, to ensure seamless execution of designs.
• Maintain clear and open communication with clients throughout the design and production process, providing updates and soliciting feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer and Tailor specializing in bridal dresses and suits.
• Strong portfolio showcasing original designs and craftsmanship in both design and sewing.
• Proficiency in pattern making, cutting, and sewing techniques for bridal wear.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrics, sewing equipment, and garment construction methods.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into finished garments with precision.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly with Accommodation.
