Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Head to lead our Human Resources department.
• The HR Head will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Oversee the entire HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, and development.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Lead recruitment efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
• Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
• Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including safety regulations and labor union agreements.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
• Tangible years of progressive HR experience, including at least a few years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the steel or related sector, is a plus.
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.
