Job Title: Backend Developer

Job Summary

• As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust APIs for mobile and web applications, working within the Azure platform. Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain applications, which are typically accessed through a web browser or mobile app. Develop and maintain server-side code that handles user requests, processes data, and delivers responses to the client-side.
• Design and maintain Microsoft SQL database. Create and manage database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure the security and reliability of data. Ensure the security of web applications and data. Design and implement security measures such as encryption, access controls, and vulnerability testing to protect against data breaches and other cyber threats.
• Create and maintain APIs, which are used to facilitate communication between different software systems. Design and implement RESTful APIs, document them, and ensure their security and reliability.
• Develop and maintain middleware, which is software that connects different systems or components of an application. Design and implement middleware that supports communication between different components of a system, such as between a database and an application server.

Requirements

• HND/ BSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role and implementing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API and understanding middleware, dependency injection, and configuration
• Working with databases using Entity Framework Core and understanding microservices architecture and patterns
• Implementing inter-service communication using REST, gRPC, or message brokers and building and deploying .NET applications on cloud platforms

Salary
N250,000 - 400,000 per month.
