Job Summary

• As a Female Hotel Assistant Supervisor in the hotel and hospitality industry, your role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of the establishment and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating various departments, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Department Supervision:

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple departments, such as front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.
• Ensure that all departmental activities, including check-in/check-out procedures, room cleanliness, food service, and guest requests, are carried out efficiently and according to established standards.
• Coordinate with department heads to maintain effective communication and collaboration across all departments.

Staff Management and Training:

• Supervise, train, and mentor staff members, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and perform their duties with excellence.
• Schedule and allocate work assignments, monitor staff performance, and provide guidance and feedback to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, address any performance issues, and recognize outstanding achievements.

Guest Satisfaction:

• Foster a guest-centric culture by ensuring that all staff members prioritize exceptional customer service.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve them to the guest's satisfaction.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement appropriate measures to continually enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Operational Efficiency:

• Ensure the smooth flow of operations by monitoring and optimizing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions.
• Maintain inventory levels, control costs, and minimize wastage by accurately forecasting and managing resources.

Quality Assurance:

• Uphold and enforce quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.

Leadership and Communication:

• Provide strong leadership to the hotel staff, promoting a positive work environment, teamwork, and a customer-centric approach.
• Foster effective communication channels within the team and across departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues or conflicts.

Maintenance and Support:

• Ensure proper maintenance of all fittings and features in the hotel and ensure prompt response in managing generators, air conditioning, fire safety measures and all fittings meant to ensure the comfort of our guest.

Requirements

• Education: Qualification in Hotel, Hospitality, Tourism and any other Related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years cognate experience
• Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team while fostering a positive work environment.
• Customer Service Orientation: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized experiences.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address guest concerns, operational challenges, and staff-related issues.
• Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure effective workflow.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards in service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility: Adaptability and willingness to work in a dynamic environment, including shift work and weekends, to meet the demands of the hotel and its guests.
• Knowledge of Hotel Systems: Familiarity with hotel management software, reservation systems, and other relevant technology to facilitate efficient operations and reporting.
