Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Market Analysis: Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential business opportunities. Assessing the competitive landscape and developing strategies to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Business Strategy: Developing and implementing effective business strategies to expand our customer base and increase market share. Identifying target markets, defining sales and marketing strategies, and setting ambitious sales goals.
  • Partnerships and Alliances: Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, including telecommunications carriers, content providers, and technology vendors. Negotiating and managing contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Leading sales efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Building and managing a robust sales pipeline, conducting sales presentations and negotiations, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Providing exceptional customer service and acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to align business objectives and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities. Providing regular reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven 5-10 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the telecommunications market, including industry trends, technologies, and competition.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and develop innovative business solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
