We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Expert - Palm Oil Plantation

Location: Ekiti
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the planting of the Palm Oil field to the best practice in spacing and crop mix on the plantation
• Responsible for Drip irrigation setup as best practice on the plantation
• Assuming operations responsibility in ensuring infrastructure and supporting units are well equipped.
• Coordinating all pre-planting and post-planting Agriculture aspects (Planting, Harvesting, Maintenance, processing, and packaging).
• Actively involved in Farm operations.
• Involved in the planning and execution of the company’s expansion plan.
• Oversees the daily operations of the Palm Estate
• Inspecting the plantations and preparing submission written reports after each visit detailing the state and conditions of all aspects of the estate together with necessary recommendations.
• Ensure all work operations in safe and responsible manner
• Planning and managing estate budget to ensure operating expenses and profitability are maximized.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and also local government and community around the estate.

The Profile
Qualifications / Experience:

• HND or BSc in Agriculture / Forestry / Science & Technology or any related field.
• 1 - 3 years of work experience.
• Working experience in a Palm Oil Mill will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work and live in Aramoko Environ in Ekiti State.
