Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Lab Technician with a minimum of three years of relevant experience to join our team at a leading construction company.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting tests and analyses on construction materials, as well as a proven track record of ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
• This role requires a high level of expertise in laboratory procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, soil, field test and aggregates
• Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished products
• Analyze and interpret test results accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times
• Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues and provide technical support
• Assist in training and mentoring junior lab technicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geographic, Geophysics, Geology, Soil Science or related field
• Minimum of three years of experience working as a Lab Technician in the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials testing procedures and industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with relevant software and data analysis tools.
