Tyla Integrated Services Limited (Security Division) is a Security company that offer comprehensive, efficient and cost-effective Protective Security of Persons and Property, Aviation Security and Investigative Services, Security surveys and clearance, security equipment surveys; all tailored to meet every client's critical needs.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Guard

Locations: Victoria Island, Mushin, Surulere, and GRA Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking reliable Security Guards to join our team. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to ensure security
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management
• Assist customers and employees as needed
• Maintain a log of daily activities and incidents
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates
• Assist with emergencies, such as evacuations or medical emergencies
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Requirements

• West Africa Examination Certificate WAEC
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Remuneration

• NGN 43,000 gross for Guards and NGN 48,000 for Supervisors
