We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Asphalt Plant Operator

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Asphalt plant operator works in Road construction Projects.

Responsibilities

• The Ashspalt plant operator use the equipment in line with company policy as well as regulatory requirements for new developments projects such as road construction projects.

The job involves the following duties and responsibilities:

• Operating the equipment safely.
• Carry out routine inspections, checks and maintenance
• Ensuring that the site is kept clean.
• Ensuring that safety signs are displayed in the work site
• Ensuring that unauthorized persons do not go near the equipment while in operation.
• Ensuring that the equipment is turned off when not in use.
• Ensuring that Asphalt is prepared on time as when needed
• Report any issues encountered, such as defects or damages.
• Comply with Asphalt production instructions and procedure
• Carrying out other functions as may be assigned by the site supervisor or manager
• It is crucial that the operator follows strict safety and security measures at all times

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:

• 3-5 years experience
• High School Diploma and irrelevant licence and certification
• Past experience in a similar role is mandatory
