Center for Advocacy, Transparency and Accountability Initiative (CATAI) is established in 2018 as registered NGO with Head Office in Maiduguri - Borno State, with offices across Yobe and Adamawa state. We have been visible in Borno Adamawa and Yobe states implementing projects in Education, Protection (Child /GBV), WaSH, Nutrition, Empowerment/Livelihood, Governance and Peace Building. Our approach is aligned with our mission to enhance services delivery and empower citizens, through our Humanitarian, Development, and peace building nexus (HDP).
Ensure field coordination with other EORE providers and flag uncoordinated efforts to the project coordinator.
Organize and facilitate regular internal EORE team meetings for their Area of Operations.
Act as the main Focal Point for CATAI HDP Humanitarian Demining, Non-Technical Survey, Victim Assistance, and other CATAI sectors to contribute to an integrated approach.
In cooperation with EORE Quality Management (QM) Specialist and Area Project Coordinator, continuously analyse the context, including Explosive Ordnance (EO) contamination.
Attend internal coordination meetings as well as EORE local, district, or regional meetings in their Area of Operations when required.
Upon staffing gaps, conduct direct and online EORE sessions for adults, adolescents, and children according to CATAI HDP SOPs, using standard and approved methodologies.
Upon staffing gaps, support the consultant in conducting EORE Training of Trainers (TOT) for local stakeholders.
Supervise Community Liaison (CL) with local communities and conduct Community Liaison with district and regional authorities.
Collaborate with the EORE team to prioritize monitoring activities, ensuring alignment with national mine action standards and CATAI standard operating procedures.
Head the creation of EORE awareness Materials, and public information campaigns in coordination with the EORE team.
Establish and Maintain effective coordination with the project partners, serving as the primary contact for day-to-day collaboration, and engage in partner capacity assessments, offering support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of project activities and output, ensuring the project monitoring data database is consistently updated by CATAI procedures.
Promptly and timely submit reportsto the project coordinator.
Coordinate the formulation of success stories and lessons learned for the creation of donor reports and case studies.
Undertake any additional responsibilities by line Manager.
Requirements
Job Essential:
3 years of experience in EORE activities and implementation with experience managing or coordinating EORE or HMA.
Experience working with children, adolescent, and adult audiences, public speaking capacity
Languages: fluent in the community's local languages, with an advanced level of English
Computer literacy: advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package (with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Psychological First Aid services.
Knowledge of global MHPSS guidelines.
Must be willing to perform other tasks as required by CATAI if relevant.
