Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Photographer/Photo Editor to join our team to visually document the operations, activities of the agency.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs that tell the story of our work, including moments involving leadership, agency activities, and investigation scenes.
• This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Photographing agency operations, including meetings, trainings, and events.
• Capturing candid moments involving agency leadership and staff members
• Editing and retouching photographs to ensure high-quality final products.
• Maintaining an organized digital library of photographs for easy access and retrieval.
• Collaborating with other departments to fulfil specific photography needs.
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while working in various environments.
• Keeping up-to-date with photography trends, techniques, and equipment.

Educational Qualifications

• Interested candidates should relevant qualifications with at least 3 years experience.
• Relevant experience and a strong portfolio will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• The most important this is that the photographer has a good command of English and must be able to caption images appropriately detailing the setting, environment or activity where in the pictures were taken

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably in a similar setting or environment.
• Proficiency with Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras and Profoto lighting equipment.
• Proficiency in digital photography equipment and software, including Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Experience creating basic text graphic overlays and colour grading.
• Ability to build and maintain a highly organized post workflow and media management organization.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of photography skills, including event coverage, portrait photography, and photojournalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and travel as needed.
• Understanding of safety protocols and best practices when working in potentially hazardous environments.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / Month.
