Job Title: Materials and Logistics Coordinator

Job Objectives / Purpose of Job
Provide materials and logistics management services for an Integrated Facilities Upgrade Project for offshore Nigeria.
The Project includes a 200 MMscf/d Gas Compression and Export Facility, a replacement FPSO plus associated CALM buoy and PLEMS, Water Injection Facilities, two new wellhead platforms and modifications to a number of existing production and wellhead platforms, together with all associated pipelines.
Project budget is circa $600 million and overall schedule approx 2 years.
Location: Lagos, with visits to Company’s Port Harcourt and Calabar bases, fabrication yards and offshore construction sites.
Reporting Relationships:
Functionally Reports To: Materials and Logistics Supervisor
Administratively Reports To: Materials and Logistics Supervisor
Equipment and Material suppliers, material supply and shipping contractors and fabrication and construction contractors.
Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Establish and maintain materials tracking registers, covering the ordering, expediting, inspection and delivery to worksite of all Project Materials.
Prepare and issue materials status reports, both regularly and on an ad-hoc basis, as requested by the Project Management Teams. Such reports to indicate estimated arrival dates versus ROS dates and highlight any potential shortages or delays.
Expedite the clearance and delivery of Project materials from point of landing to point of use.
Maintain a log of all materials-related documents (including inspection certificates and drawings), in conjunction with Company’s Document Controllers.
Physically inspect and check on the identification, segregation, condition and storage arrangements of Company-supplied materials, including those stored at Contractor’s premises. Ensure appropriate preservation measures are in place for materials stored for extended periods.
Ensure return of all unused and surplus materials to Company.
Carry out ad-hoc inspections and audits of suppliers and contactors materials management systems, including identification and storage / protection of Project materials, return of surplus materials etc.
Provide leave cover for Materials and Logistics Supervisor.
Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:
Zero delays to the Project schedule due to unforeseen / unreported late deliveries of Company-provided equipment and materials.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry, with at least 3 years in a similar position
Good knowledge and understanding of material tracking / reporting systems, as well as material and equipments specifications, codes, standards and inspection requirements.
Proficient in MSWord/Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
