Job Description 
We are seeking for lecturers in the following disciplines in our General Studies Department:

• English Language

• Mathematics

• Chemistry
• Biology
• Computer Science/ICT
• Nutrition
• Microbiology
• Anatomy
• Physiology
• Sociology
• Psychology
• Philosophy
• Laboratory Science Technology
• Guidance & Counseling
• Citizenship
• Political Science/Administration
• Statistics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• The general studies lecturer is to educate and inspire students, covering a wide range of interdisciplinary subjects.
• The lecturer is to foster critical thinking and provide a well-rounded education to empower the next generation of informed and versatile leaders.

Qualifications

• A Masters degree in relevant field of specialization (English Language, French, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science / ICT, Nutrition, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy,
• Laboratory Science Technology, Guidance & Counseling, Citizenship, Political Science / Administration and Statistics)
• A teaching qualification such as Professional Diploma in Education (PDE), Masters in Education (M.Ed.), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and National Certificate in Education (NCE).
• A minimum of four (4) years of teaching experience, at least two (2) of which must be in a College of Education or an institution of comparable or higher standing.
• A minimum number of scholarly publications as determined by the Appointments & Promotions Committee
• Demonstrable ability to initiate and develop research.
• Must be computer literate.
