Mission
Oversee the development and management of MTNN Fibre Broadband strategy to ensure strategic decision-making supported by an accurate, efficient, and effective market penetration system while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures that monitor and support the Fibre Broadband business performance management.
To distil and provide a deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations to enable MTN Nigeria to engage more closely with its customers.
Description
Develop strategies for effective market penetration based on existing and potential channels.
Generate periodic channel and partner assessment reports for performance reviews.
Define and implement communications strategies that will support a differentiated MTN brand position that sets the organization apart from the competition.
Develop competitive broadband strategies for MTN Broadband product plans, solutions, and value propositions.
Determine and manage the development of new capabilities and resources to enhance the deployment of solutions and services in the fibre segment of business plans and cases for opportunity selection nationwide, negotiating and contracting with estates, partners, and resellers.
Participate in contract negotiations to reduce costs and drive MTNN Value Creation Philosophy.
Drive the adoption of new growth opportunities for the business within the Fibre service segment.
Ensure relevant business rules are applied in the budget process and forecasting scenarios for broadband business performance.
Manage the performance measurement and monitoring of Fibre broadband propositions, promotions, and activities to ensure that they adhere to the business plan and provide feedback to senior management as requested.
Review the feasibility assumptions used versus actual behavior in the market after the launch of a product, promotion, or activity.
Ensure the integrity of broadband financial modeling projects.
Ensure quality assurance for all business plans, product analysis, and data generated for reporting.
Review and assess competitive price reaction scenarios.
Manage ad hoc projects as directed by Chief Broadband Officer/Chief Ooperating Officer.
Establish a commercial footprint for various channels that shadow the network roll-out.
Coach and train direct reports to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets and requirements, and regular review of their training needs.
Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
Requirements
Education:
A First Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline
A Master's degree, preferably an MBA, will be an advantage.
Fluent in English.
Experience:
A minimum of 12 years of working experience, which includes:
Manager track record of 5 years or more, with at least 3 years in the relevant sector or industry
3 years’ experience in business performance reporting, financial analysis, and business development
Work experience across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
