Description
As a founding member of the growth & marketing executive team, you will be instrumental in shaping our marketing strategy and brand presence within Nigeria's dairy industry.
Your role focuses on spearheading strategic growth initiatives, leading expansion efforts, and cultivating strategic partnerships to enhance our market reach.
You will assemble and lead a team dedicated to driving demand through innovative marketing approaches, collaborating closely with factory operations, logistics, and sales teams.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will contribute visionary leadership, create scalable growth strategies, and champion our purpose and values.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy:
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement marketing strategies, framework, procedures and new business channels that support the mission and vision of the Company and its various business units.
Develop and execute marketing plans and growth objectives that drive incremental sales and profits
Responsible for the proactive, and continuous engagement of relevant internal and external Stakeholders (Board, Regulatory Bodies, Management Team, Local Community e.t.c.) concerned, or affected by the organization’s activities, products or services, and associated performance, with the end purpose of eliciting their support and cooperation for the organization’s desired goals.
Build multi-channel marketing campaigns together with your team to drive brand sentiment and user growth
Leverage customer insights to influence brand strategy and graphic identity
Marketing & Communications
Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with target audiences, industry trends, client needs and oversee the implementation of targeted marketing and communication strategies for effective brand engagement, execution and digital marketing initiatives.
Develop and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and client communications for its various business units.
Own (build and manage) all social media platforms
Define and oversee the creation structure and framework for creating high quality and engaging content across various channels, including blogs, social media, videos, and case studies.
Supervise all creative content developing activities (image, videos, campaigns, etc.) based on data-driven analysis
Drive B2B Sales Workforce
Ensures the achievement of sales targets by all direct reporting functions, units and personnel.
Build and maintain profitable relationships with existing and potential stakeholders, understanding client’s needs and identifying opportunities for collaboration, effective communication and increased portfolio.
Development of business prospects across the company’s entire customer focus spectrum. Initiation and development of business proposals and aggressive sales pitching for business solicitation from existing and prospective customers.
Drive the business development team in the building and sustaining high-value business relationships across focus market segments and customers.
Customer Experience:
Responsible for driving the implementation of strategic initiatives that define customer service excellence standards and is responsible for all customer interactions that meet and exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
Acts as chief customer experience officer by defining customer service standards and processes for all customer interactions via various communication channels.
Drive B2C acquisition and retention
Own B2C Customer Journey from acquisition to retention
Develop, build and lead a global customer-centric service infrastructure to support customers through their whole customer journey (acquisition, retention and support)
Expansion and Business Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive revenue, market share, and customer acquisition.
Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partnerships to fuel company growth.Lead the exploration and expansion into new geographies.
Proactively identify and pursue new business leads, conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and develop targeted marketing and communication strategies for effective market execution and focus for the Company.
Aggressive identification, prioritizing, and management of corporate relationships with strategic partners that have sufficient reach to provide business development results for the business
Product Development:
Development and upgrading of marketable products geared towards enhancing the competitiveness and market dominance of the organization.
Marketing & Sales Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure marketing effectiveness. Analyze data and provide regular reports to Executive management, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.
Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment
Prepare reports showcasing ad performance and share insights on current and future marketing campaign
In charge of all B2C acquisition and retention metrics and reporting
Lead understanding of data sources & segmentation design to understand customer behavior & needs
People Management
Responsible for driving and sustaining strategic people management practices that support the organization’s ability to achieve its corporate objectives through optimal talent resourcing, employee engagement, talent management, and people development.
Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
General Management:
Provides strategic oversight over the day-to-day operations of the business development department.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI for marketing activities across the various business units.
Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation, new business areas, partnership and continuous brand growth.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
Proven experience with at least 6 years in a senior executive leadership role within a marketing, operations, communications or sales function in an agency, manufacturing or multi-national company.
Proven track record of driving growth and scaling businesses.
