Job Description 

• Our client is currently searching for a highly experienced and vibrant sales and marketing manager to drive the marketing activities of a new game show that is set to hit our screens in the coming weeks.
• The preferred candidate would play a pivotal role in seeking more sponsors and partners for the show, including identifying new business opportunities, building and solidifying relationships and networks, introducing innovative ideas and leading the sales team.
• This role requires understanding of the media and entertainment industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales and marketing success.

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with overall company objectives and revenue goals.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets for game show sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, advertisers, and sponsors.
• Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns to drive awareness, viewership, and audience participation in our game show.
• Utilize various channels, including digital, social media, traditional advertising, and promotions, to maximize reach.
• Identify opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility.
• Analyze audience feedback and adjust marketing strategies to optimize viewer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for sales and marketing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum return on investment.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with production, creative, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies and alignment with the show's content. Provide regular reports on sales and marketing performance, including key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing management. Experience within the television media or entertainment industry is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for entertainment.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and advertising trends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with media planning, buying, and audience research.
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and trends is advantageous.

Salary
N400,000 / month.
