Job Title: Director of Physical Planning
Location: Ogun State.
Job Responsibilities
The Director of Physical Planning shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day running of the Directorate of Physical Planning
He/She shall over see the Directorate of Physical Planning in the University as well as advice on the physical planning requirements of the institution.
Academic/Professional Qualification
A minimum of Second Class Lower Division Honours Degree or equivalent qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or other related disciplines from a recognized University.
Membership of relevant professional bodies such as Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) Architects Registration Councils of Nigeria (ARGON), etc.
Computer literacy and possession of a higher Degree shall be an added advantage.
Experience
At least Fifteen (15) years of relevant post-qualification cognate experience preferably in a University or related institutions and must have served as a Deputy Director Physical Planning for not less than three (3) years.
Condition of Service
The Conditions of Service are attractive and can compare favourably with what obtains in any public University in the Country.
The successful candidates who qualify for pensionable appointment will be on probation for three (3) years after which the appointment may be confirmed to a retiring age, provided the performance of such person is considered satisfactory to the University.
The Contributory Pension Scheme as adopted by the State Government and appropriate allowance as may be approved from time to time by the University Governing Council shall be applicable to all staff
