Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality diction instruction to students, promoting effective communication skills, and instilling a love for language.
• The Diction Teacher will play a vital role in enhancing our students' ability to articulate themselves clearly and confidently, aligning with our commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Diction Instruction:

• Plan and deliver engaging diction lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages effective communication skills.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience.

Curriculum Development:

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the diction curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and the school's educational goals.
• Stay updated on educational trends and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate students' progress in diction skills.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their development.

Professional Development:

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and contribute to a collaborative and supportive school community.

Parent and Stakeholder Communication:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience.
• 4+ years relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of British English and proficiency in teaching phonetics, pronunciation, and diction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for fostering effective communication skills in students.
