Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems.
• The AC Technician will ensure that cooling systems operate efficiently and effectively to meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning systems.
• Perform regular maintenance of AC units, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, changing filters, and lubricating parts.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions in HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace defective components in AC units, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Calibrate thermostats and ensure proper functioning of system controls and safety devices.
• Conduct performance tests and resolve system issues to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding their AC systems.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing AC units.
• Understanding of electrical and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• HVAC certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
