We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sponsorship Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities
Prospecting and Outreach:

• Identify potential sponsors and donors that align with the organization's mission, values, and program goals.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and identify new opportunities for sponsorship and donations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach strategy to engage prospective sponsors and donors.

Relationship Building:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors and donors.
• Collaborate with key decision-makers within sponsor organizations and donor entities to understand their needs and objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for sponsors and donors, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

• Create compelling sponsorship proposals and donation requests tailored to the needs and interests of potential sponsors and donors.
• Negotiate sponsorship agreements and donation terms in collaboration with legal and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial and meet the objectives of both parties.

Donor Outreach and Fundraising:

• Develop and implement strategies to solicit donations from individual and institutional donors.
• Organize and promote fundraising campaigns and events to attract donor contributions.
• Cultivate relationships with philanthropic individuals and organizations to secure ongoing support.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

• Work closely with program managers, marketing teams, and other internal stakeholders to align sponsorship and donation opportunities with program objectives.
• Coordinate the execution of sponsorship and donor-related activities, ensuring commitments are fulfilled.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the sponsorship and donation budgets, ensuring revenue targets are met.
• Provide regular financial reports and updates to leadership regarding performance and fundraising efforts.

Event Planning and Execution:

• Support the planning and execution of events, conferences, or programs where sponsorships and donations are involved.
• Coordinate sponsor and donor-related activities, ensuring visibility and recognition for their contributions.

Performance Analysis:

• Track and analyze the performance of sponsorships and donations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to assess sponsor and donor satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in sponsorship and donor relations or partnership management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Familiarity with relevant industries, market trends, and fundraising strategies.

• Fundraising Expertise: Demonstrated experience in fundraising, with a focus on both individual and institutional donors, and the ability to organize successful fundraising campaigns and events.
• Financial Acumen: Strong budget management skills, including the ability to develop, monitor, and report on sponsorship and donation budgets.
• Event Coordination: Experience in coordinating sponsor and donor-related activities within events, ensuring visibility and recognition for contributors.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to track, analyze, and provide insights on the performance of sponsorships and donations, implementing improvements based on feedback.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and a dynamic fundraising landscape.

Salary:
N150,000 per month fixed.
Plus a negotiable % of all sponsorship payments secured.
