Azarai is a leading mid-range luxury jewelry retailer serving customers across Nigeria and Ghana. We have three physical stores in Nigeria; two in Lagos and one in Abuja. In addition, we are the leading online destination for wedding and engagement rings in the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Retail Associate

Job Description

• We are looking for results-driven Retail Associates to be responsible for the overall store management at our Ikeja store.
• The successful candidates will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage the store effectively as per company policies.
• Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in sales, customer service or marketing.
• We don't care about degrees or qualifications just a strong work ethic, integrity and a willingness to learn

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cultivate excellent product knowledge
• Guide customers to making purchases and close transactions
• Respond to customer enquiries and make best effort to resolve complaints
• Maintain good cleanliness and good decorative order in the physical premises
• Manage stock levels and ensure availability of inventory in-store
• Make sure the POS is working
• Ensure supply of all office consumables
• Ensure timely opening of the store
• Arrange store display in an inviting fashion
• Accept repairs and ensure they are dispatched and returned in a timely fashion
• Enforce company policies
• Execute company promotions and offers

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• You will be administered a diction test
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and software

Skills:

• Ability to speak a major Nigerian language is a plus (Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa)
• Ability to sell a high-end product for a luxury brand
• You need to be comfortable dealing with well-educated and affluent customers
• Product knowledge
• Personable and sunny personality
• Calm disposition and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent personal grooming is a MUST
• Excellent diction and ability to give written instructions and information clearly and concisely
• Commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task
• Good problem-solving skills

Working Hours:

• This is a part-time position requiring you to work between 100-170 hours monthly (roughly between two and four days a week).
• Hours are flexible BUT you can be scheduled to work any time during our working hours of 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.

Remuneration

• You will be paid hourly based on hours worked. The hourly wage is N400/hr and will be paid monthly in arrears.
