Addedge Solutions Limited - Our client, a foremost and reputable Landscape and Architectural firm with Corporate Office in Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Manager - Horticulture

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of farm staff and activities.
• Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understand expectations.
• Work with Nursery and outside vendors to source plant and other materials as needed
• Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, (livestock) also perform tests on soil and water.
• Preparing farm budgets and financial reports.
• Purchase supplies.
• Maintain professional networks and keep abreast of developments in agricultural science
• Analyzing existing operations and recommending improvements.
• Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and Replacement of equipment and machinery.
• Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
• Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science or equivalent.
• Additional courses in business management an advantage
• 10 years experience in a Horticulture-related field.
• A passion for agriculture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Remuneration
N250,000 Monthly.
