Job Summary
Execute and supervise the daily drilling activities (2 drilling machines) and communicate with blasting team during the charging process.
Supervise the main and auxiliary mining activities (quarry benches leveling, open the new limestone quarry, (2 Epiroc drill rigs,)
Follow up with all the mining and drilling machines operators every 30 minutes to avoid any health problem come from the lone working in the far and unfeasible benches in limestone quarry
Responsibilities
Understand and comply with HSE policies to assume that HSE are the first priority of the business. Actively support key safety initiative at the plant and assist the department as needed to improve HSE performance and results
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
Ensures safe working conditions and good safe practices are applied at work.
Organize and execute Drilling operation work site to insure work is carried in green, safe and injury free environment. Give precise instructions and committed with it and his subordinates to avoid any confusion about work
Create middle chain point between technicians and team Leader and pack up of in case of absence
Execute and implement Drilling operations, and assign each drilling technician for his daily work
Report the shutdowns reasons and drilling operation production to the drilling & blasting Team Leader
Reporting with the technicians the drilling log which effect on the explosives charging in the drilling holes
Doing with the technicians and operators the first inspection for all equipment every day and cascading the breakdowns and its effect on the operation
Follow the breakdowns with the workshop team to finish it and planning a time frame for each breakdown
Communicate with the operation team about the planned blasts and its readiness
Communicate with the drilling and mining operators to evacuate the quarry during the blasting process.

Level of Education
Technical Education or equivalent in Mechanical or other related field with at least 4 years’ experience in the Cement or similar industry
Minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience.
Machine Main System knowledge.
Profile Required:
Computer literacy is essential Technical / Functional Skills:
Knowledge of SAP.
Good knowledge of RCA methodology and facilitating skills.
Strong spoken & written communication skill.
Technical & Behavioural competencies:
Solid knowledge of drilling machines operation
Leadership and Managerial abilities:
Problem solving – Strong analytical & problem-solving skills & ability to handle a range of management, coordination & technical issues.
Technical decisions related to equipment performance & condition evaluation.
Propose section needs from tools/equipment, supplies or necessary projects.
