Job Title: Programme Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Objectives
Generate, Develop, and Oversee the execution of Projects within the Livestock Value Chain.
Devise and execute strategies for generating projects quarterly, bi-annually, and annually as the frequency applies to the annual departmental budget.
Lead communicationswith donors, Investors, and other project stakeholders.
Develop,and reviewcontractual Agreements in collaboration with the Company Secretary and other leadership of the Organization.
Collaborate with the line Manager, Finance, and Account department on the projected financial implication in executing a Project to forecast revenue generation.
Proactivelyassess potential risks in the execution of a project and measures of mitigation.
Develop and manage a detailed program plan to track project progress and milestones to ensure all aspects of the Project are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Schedule, coordinate, represent the organization, and document minutes of meetings such as; Opening Meetings, Review Meetings, Program Cycle Meetings, and Closure Meetings.
Facilitate the development of commercial linkages between pilot lead farmers, buyers, processors, and other value chain actors.
Develop Livestock strategies, methodologies, and identification of new approaches for improving Livestock in line with the Organization’s goals and objectives.
Prepare Project completion reports and ensure consistency in narrative and financial reports and that they meet quality standards
Participate in industry forums, conferences, meetings, and exhibitions.
Develop the departmental policy and procedure manual
Conduct routine partner on-site assessments to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and company-prescribed standards.
Collaborate with the head of sales and marketing in implementing and maintaining the Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions necessary to achieve quality and product safety standards.
Other duties as required.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Livestock Health Management, or a related field
Possess a minimum of 7 years ’ related work experience in a related field and sector.
Experience generating and implementing Livelihood or livestock-related projects.
Experience working with NGOs and other developmental foundations.
Excellent written andverbal communication skills.
Excellent Report writing skills.
Possess Knowledge of Federal,State Laws and rules governing the Livestock sector.
Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments simultaneously and adapt to changing demands and circumstances.
Ability to travel frequently within and outside the country to attend conferences, monitor projects,and facilitate business transactions.
