Job Description
Head-PCT will provide technical support to implement high-quality care, treatment, and support activities with a primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS including provision of Anti-retroviral therapy (ART).
Job Role
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:
To provide technical support for the planning and implementation of Prevention Care and Treatment services at the implementing state level
Collaboration with key stakeholders and gatekeepers at national and state l levels to provide an enabling environment for the implementation of HIV prevention and treatment activities among Key Populations in the state.
Supervise the implementation of comprehensive operational work plans for HIV prevention, care, and treatment activities for the technical team at the HQ and implementing states.
Routinely review program and M&E data and report via DHIS, and CRRF, and prepare and submit monthly quarterly, and annual reports, also routinely review the quality of data on the EMR (LAMIS)
Qualifications/Experience
Must possess an MBBS or MPH
7 - 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing HIV-related work at the community level and facility or in resource-constrained settings; should also have 4 years’ experience in HIV Monitoring and Evaluation.
Experience in the design and operations of a One Stop Shop (OSS)
Good analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
Conversant with the use of electronic medical records (LAMIS)
Experience in supervising and mentoring a dynamic team.
Ability to think out of the box in solving programmatic bottlenecks.
Ability to work independently, and in a team.
Experience in writing reports and articles
Experience in stakeholder management
Ability to use infographics.
