My dear friends, it is a thing of choice just like in every other thing we do in life. There are always rooms for different school of thoughts with divergent views about a particular issue or subject matter. We should always try to argue and defend our beliefs and ideologies, without attacking one another's personality. Let us always engage in positive criticisms and avoid levelling insults and abuses on our persons, as it doesn't show courtesy or any sense of being educated, literate or 'civilised' as the case may be. Neither does it make us any different from the so called elite, leaders and politicians we are bemoaning. We shouldn't be enraged by the events and happenings in our society, and as such loose our sense of appreciation and right-thinking. Rather, we should serve as watchdog in our society, criticising and condemning evil and wrongdoings, and on the other hand commending, appreciating and encouraging right-thinking, 'right doing' and well-meaning Nigerians.
Finally, for those who think it is a good development and wish to apply, go ahead and do so without trying to cajole anybody into applying because you want to apply. For those who think otherwise, look elsewhere and don't discourage others. It is neither a forceful situation nor a do or die affair, and nobody says you must do it.
Please implore us not to expect everybody or every other person out there to think, behave or act the way we do. We are all created and endowed with specific gifts and for different purposes which we have to discover and fulfil as individuals. It is just a matter of time before we all take our rightful places and positions in life. Think and act positively, and be good ambassadors. God bless us all.

No wonder certain quarters think dat Nig grads ar nt employable. Whoever said dat must hav foreseen d low self-esteem being exhibitd on dis blog by some supposed intellectuals. It's all about choice. For Dangote to peg the driving opportunity only for graduates. I strongly believe the pay will be up to 70K.
Instead of staying at home and eating 'mama thank you' You can try your luck and plan towards upgrading your career.

The truth is that, jobs are very scarce in our dear country, and graduates needs to start earning some money.

If you can't do this job and you have a laptop, I will teach you how to make money online by working @ fiverr.com. just send an email to [email protected] Subject--Fiverr money making

I think Nigerian graduates are wasting their time, who told you that Dangote Group will employ graduates as drivers? There are abundant illetrates truck drivers on ground that will forge Certificate and apply, finally they will be called. I think the company should look for something meaningful to the graduates not playing with their intellengies. Job is job but sometime look on the personality! Respect! Stress! etc. Do you think that spending 4 - 5 years in the university/ 3 - 4 yrs in the polytechnic, and 6 yrs in secondary plus 6 yrs in primary will only yield truck driving? Please let's reason!

The problem is that Nigerian graduates are not entreprenuerial minded. They are looking for jobs they will do all their lives. I think one has to start with whatever job, raise capital and start up an independent business. If the pay is good, what stops one from doing the job to raise fund and start up something to maximise his or her potentials. Make we wise up oh! No be like this we go de dey.
