Job Description
As a Product Manager (Business), you will be responsible for understanding user requirements and translating them to user experience and product requirement documents.
You will be the vital link between our engineering capacity and our core business objectives with responsibility for the successful implementation and deployment of products that our customers love by driving user research, gathering product requirements, implementing, testing and deployment of our software products features.
You will also work closely with the sales, user experience, marketing and engineering teams to define and execute the important thing to work on.
This role requires an eye for detail, super-analytical and presentation skills.
We are looking for someone who has a deep knowledge of the fintech industry and great research capabilities to join the local product team and provide quality reports to aid informed product development.
Responsibilities
Engage customers to understand and properly document their business requirements.
Gain an in-depth understanding of excellent industry peer's products, product iterations and marketing activities.
Gain an in-depth understanding of product requirements from different industries merchants, focusing on the following industries: retail, supermarkets, wholesale, and restaurants.
Communicate key insights and findings to the business and product teams systematically.
Own and develop relationships with partners from different industries, working with them to optimize and enhance business integration.
Work closely with the sales team, product technology team, UX team, and marketing team to craft products that merchants love with the best user experience, and to design awareness and go-to-market campaigns
Gain an in-deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Work closely with Technical Product Management in delivering features to required specifications.
Work closely with Business Leadership in driving key objectives and results for the business unit.
Perform quality assurance to ensure the solution being delivered is in line with the customer's requirements
Handle internal and external project communication
Help design, document and maintain system processes
Define and monitor the company's relevant KPIs and control the measures to achieve the objectives set.
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team.
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
Job Requirements
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in product management in complex/matrix environments with some expertise in user experience. Preferably within a fintech, banking or technology organization.
An expert level of professional understanding with merchant acquiring products
A high level of professional knowledge with targeted industries.
Ability to translate user requirements into user experience mockups.
Proven track of experience in collaborating with top merchants in targeted industries.
Proven track of experience in gathering user requirements and translating them to user experience and product requirement documents.
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools .
Excellent planning, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Strong knowledge of generating process documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
Ability to work with marketing teams to craft communication strategies.
