Job Title: Expression of Interest for Individual Consultant, Clinical Psychologist - PTCW
The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing psychosocial assistance services to employees and dependents of the African Development Bank.
The Medical Services and Staff Welfare Division, PTCW2, is responsible for providing medical, professional and welfare services to all AfDB staff and eligible dependents, both at the Bank's headquarters in Abidjan and in the Regional Directorates and Country Offices.
The Consultant shall assist the Medical Centre in the performance of its responsibilities as follows:
Develop the Bank's psychosocial health policies, guidelines and procedures;
Prepare periodic reports for Management and participate in studies, research and observations that impact the psychosocial health and well-being of staff;
Serve as the Medical Advisor to the Staff Medical Plan; and
Provide psychosocial and counselling services to staff members and their spouses, while maintaining strict confidentiality and respecting the privacy of all clients.
The duration of the services is estimated at twelve (12) months renewable once after a performance evaluation and the start date is scheduled for 2 January 2024.
Requirements
The Medical Services and Staff Welfare Division (PTCW2) invites applications from Individual Consultants to provide the services described above. Interested Individual Consultants must provide information on their capacity and experience to demonstrate that they are qualified to perform these services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in comparable assignments, etc.).
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection process shall be in accordance with the Rules and Procedures for the Use of Corporate Consultants. Please note that interest expressed by a consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.

Establishment of the Shortlist
A short list of three to six individual Consultants will be established at the end of the request for expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria based on their updated resume.
Level of education in general - 20%
Level of education in relation to the field of the consultancy mission - 20%
Years of experience in general - 20%
Number of years of experience relevant to the consultancy mission - 40%
