Know Our Team:
Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting, and review processes.
The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. Implementation Research and Data Officer, Maternal MMS, Nigeria will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the research component of the project providing technical support to the research partner and NI team at field level to collate and manage program data.
Also, He/She will assist in providing program, financial and administrative support services to the project in the state
About the Role
In this role you will be:
Responsible for coordinating the implementation of the research component of the project providing technical support to the research partner and NI team at field level to collate and manage program data.
Also, He/She will assist in providing program, financial and administrative support services to the project in the state.
Provide technical support to the MMS Technical Advisory Group (TAG) in Nigeria for the design of implementation research (IR) on MMS in select LGAs of Bauchi. Advise on the design and rollout of the MMS program implementation.
Provide technical support to the MMS TAG, the Nigeria country office and the implementing agency for the roll-out of the implementation research.
Support the TAG to synthesize overall findings to inform decision making around sustainability and scale up in that context
About You
You will have a M.Sc / MA / MPH in relevant field with more than 5 years’ experience in research within health and development projects, preferably in nutrition interventions.
Additional computer training or certification will be an asset, At least 5 years’ experience conducting research or coordinating research projects
