They are building a financial structure that is centralised in crypto exchange, a lending platform, an NFT marketplace, and other products to fully bring Sub-Saharan Africa into the new world of decentralised finance, ownership, and creativity. Responsibilities
Oversee the company’s Impact Fund, their Policy & Research Think Tank, the Philanthropy Partnerships, and the Impact Fundraising
Manage impact management processes across the organization on a clear, regular schedule, as well as communicate to staff and stakeholders in an organized and dependable manner. The Vice President will ensure successful coordination between staff and stakeholders
Prepare data for analysis including building repeatable and well-documented processes to create new analyses of data; conduct data analysis for the company’s programs and development impact tracking and identify patterns, questions, and areas for further analysis.
Build capacity for, implement, and manage internal systems for conducting ongoing outcomes measurement and assessment
Participate in conversations with Promise staff, board members, and key stakeholders to determine and validate appropriate metrics and benchmarks for organisational success
Independently and with external vendors, design and implement evaluation tools to support the strategic evaluation plan including both quantitative and qualitative methods as appropriate
Oversee the use of evaluation as a tool in accomplishing program/project objectives and ensure that data is being collected accurately, analysed appropriately, and adapted as needed
Facilitate communication of policies, procedures, schedules, and other logistics associated with external evaluation
Manage a portfolio of strategic evaluations, working closely with the program staff to assure that the evaluations provide quality, useful, and timely information
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Public Policy, Social Science or related field. Master's Degree preferred but not required.
Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a strong focus on metrics and data-driven decision making, preferably in a not-for-profit organization
A minimum of +3 years in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement new program and research briefs
Demonstrated experience with working large quantitative and qualitative databases, and working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and software
Exceptional project management, prioritization, and planning skills, with demonstrated success producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget
Excellent strategic thinking skills, with the ability to operationalize concepts and transform ideas into action as well as apply research findings to ongoing program development
Ability to decipher, organize, and communicate complex data
An analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively
