Technical Officer - Comprehensive HIV / TB Program (x2) at the Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi)

Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a non-profit organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. AHNi currently has its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.

To strengthen our operations and interventions in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Technical Officer - Comprehensive HIV / TB Program (x2)

Job Description

• Will drive project implementation of Prevention, Care, and Treatment within the confines of Enhanced Site Management across supported facilities and communities in the Central and Southern Clusters.
• Provide technical and programmatic support to implement high-quality comprehensive HIV/AIDS programs (ART, PMTCT, TB/HIV, RH/HIV, and HTS) and other services including direct service provision at the facility level, based on the ongoing HIV and TB surge in the State..

Minimum Recruitment Standards

• MB.BS / MD / Ph.D. or similar Degree with 1 to 3 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource-constrained settings.
• Or MPH or MS / MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource-constrained settings.
• Or BS / BA in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Health Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource-constrained settings.

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

• Minimum of BMLS or AMLSCN in Medical Laboratory Science with at least 4 years of working experience in a PCR laboratory.
• Or MSc in applied biosciences with 5-7 years of working experience in a PCR laboratory.
• Certification or license to practice medical laboratory science is an advantage.
