Job Summary
Responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance and enhancements of the Power Platform application systems in test and production operations, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation.
Responsibilities also include building solutions for Monitoring and Evaluation projects using Power Platform, root cause analysis, management communication, and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support and Operations team members.
Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology, version control, appropriate testing, and risk guidelines.
Acts as an internal expert in terms of the assigned system and is responsible for knowing what changes have been made to the base system.
Plays a critical role in delivering high-quality service and support to various levels of internal users.
Conducts technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions for clients.
Assesses new software products and solutions.
Duties include participation in client needs assessments, evaluating hardware and platform availability, and software requirements.
Accountabilities
Delivering services and solutions for clients using Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations
Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions satisfying customer requirements.
Help guide teams to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agent)
Understand business difficulties to provide solutions by applying problem-solving and decision-making skills
Keep abreast of new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends
Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate; outputs will include data visualization and low code applications
Use various connectors to connect disparate systems to Power Platform applications. Recommend and guide development of APIs for Line of Business applications that do not have native connectors
Identify areas and processes where Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Assists in the evaluation, development, and implementation of company systems, including custom developed, off-the-shelf, and/or hosted solutions.
Contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle
Adept at crafting Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge to both pro-developers and citizen developers.
Partner with cross-function technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery.

Supervision Given / Received:
Oversee and facilitate the work of others (Developers and other analysts) in support of the project execution process.
Train entry-level Application Analysts.
Provide guidance and support the users in their efforts to become proficient in the use of the applications.
Consults with clients and higher- level technicians and analysts to resolve technical problems and ensure client satisfaction.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field.
Experience:
5 - 8 years of related work experience.
Experience in designing complex common data models.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts.
Experience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
Will be proactive in staying up to date on the latest updates to the Power Platform, as well as future roadmap features announced in Microsoft’s wave plans.
Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model.
Knowledge and experience with writing technical requirements, test scripts and knowledge of software programming languages and technologies.
Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps
Experience developing PowerApps model
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users.
Ability to initiate majority of relevant tasks, specify and plan activities for task accomplishments and notify supervisor of variances. Prior experience working in a non- governmental organization (NGO).
Applied Knowledge & Skills:
Passion for moving organizations forward with the Power Platform and excitement for the impact Power Platform can have on customer experiences.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM development experience.
Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutions.
Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
Core Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft DataVerse (CDS), Power Automate.
Experience with and a good understanding of the Power Platform CoE and governance components.
BA/BS degree in a computer discipline, or equivalent applicable experience.
Familiarity with Agile project management and sprint planning.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
