Job Title: Cloud Productivity / Security Engineer
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Job Description
A cloud solutions/support engineer is primarily responsible for the planning, design, development, management, maintenance, and support of Office 365 cloud solutions and related services and provisioning of Azure VMs and Storage.
He or She is also responsible for monitoring cloud resource consumption, request fulfillment turnaround, application performance, and systems security posture.
He or She must have strong experiences with Microsoft products and online solutions, especially for Microsoft Azure, EMS, Office 365 product suite- Exchange Online, Skype for Business, or SharePoint Online.
He or She will also be assisting HL’s clients in resolving issues and carrying out routine operational tasks.
Nice to have hybrid experience with on-prem products such as Exchange 2013/2016/2019, Lync 2013, SFB 2015/2019, SharePoint 2013/2016/2019
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for deployment and administration of Cloud/SaaS applications and services such as Azure Services, Office 365 Suites- Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Yammer, and others to help automate and streamline services and processes in customers’ environment.
Responsible for developing and improving processes & functionality of Cloud/SaaS applications
Responsible for designing technical solutions on Azure, adhering to the customer’s requirements, creating functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and render support with other project deliverables as necessary.
Designing and implementing hybrid cloud-based solutions with Microsoft Azure and System Centre using your expertise and knowledge of discovery, design, and implementation of key infrastructure
Offers recommendations concerning cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for Azure adoption and Office 365.
Responsible for driving the customer-centric worldwide adoption of Microsoft Cloud Productivity & Security solutions
Define strategies that are key to quality services delivery and assurance
Analyze associate use cases to improve the process and deliver the right technology solution
Automating with support scripting tools (i.e., PowerShell and others)
Work closely with the Business and IT Analysts in developing and maintaining process improvements and automation, using SharePoint and other tools available to you
Provide L1/L2 technical support for all aspects of customers’ cloud services
Directly support our office365 & Azure customers and resolve critical and complex technical issues 24x7.
Identify customer issues to specific Office 365 services, Azure Services, or Azure Platform; and conduct in-depth diagnostics on said platform and services.
Interface and support the incident resolution with 1st and 2nd level support teams with all high priority issues related to identity and access.
Deep technical and product expertise, and combine it with your understanding of our customer’s needs to solve their complex business challenges
Provide end-user documentation and training as required to ensure these new tools are used as effectively as possible
Providing professional advice and technical expertise to customers, liaising through scoping requirements, design/planning, solution architecture, configuration, and deployment
Providing technical support and escalation point for complex support issues throughout the project
Developing and presenting technical project information and documentation
identifying new opportunities for the introduction of strategic technology solutions
Develop technology strategy, future state architecture, and roadmap for the productivity suite landscape.
Provide pre-sales support for complex deals, support executive briefings
Provide technical guidance & strategy for business solutions
Traveling to customers’ sites across the country and not limited to a local location with some overnight stays when required.
Proactively identify problems and translating these into non-technical descriptions that can be widely understood.
Keep up to date with the latest Certification path to prove skills & expertise in solution delivery
Responsible for providing mentoring and training to end-users
Eligibility
B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Skills for Success:
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, ADFS, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Lync Server /Skype for Business
Working knowledge of Domain Name Service configuration and management, focusing on Mail Routing, MX records, etc.

Experience with secure email routing configuration and email principles
Experience with connecting Single Sign-On and Identity federation technologies.
