Many thanks to the FCMB team for this excellent move at recruiting the best talents. I can feel it even from a distance. Come to think of it, we have always seen or heard " you must have first class or a minimum of second class upper". Let me state categorically here that about 95% of those who have first class and second class lower division are worse than having a third class in a "real system". The reason is simple. Our educational system has fallen to the extend that the worst students who have their money and their "way" end up graduating with 2:1 or even first class. However, this does not mean that there are no good students among those having 2:1. But the truth is that the best actually fall within the bracket of second class lower division.
Once again, I thank the FCMB group for considering "second class lower". You will be amazed to discover at the end of the recruitment exercise that those who will be successful at the aptitude test and interview stages would be more of the 2:2 class.
Other banks are hereby challenged to emulate the FCMB group.

I had ealier fowarded my C.V via the emails provided, applying for FCMB graduate trianee, hoping to get a responce to be invited for the interview, it never came, but to show FCMB how dertermine i am to render my good service to the growth of FCMB, as early as 6:30am, i have left my house at iyana-ipaja headed to your branch at Apapa, at about 9am, i got to your branch opposite LG office, and requested from one of your staff there if the interview was going on as expected by the date advertize online 25th Nov., i was refers to you branch at creek road, on getting there, i was told the test had been written on the 24th of Nov. Hmmmmm.... My question is this, dose thhat means that the advertised date was not geniue, and for dertermine minds like me,ready for work has to hope in rendering my service to your organissation? Honestly i wish to get a reply on this, because i am yet to recover from the shock i found myself in today dated 25th Nov 2011

If what salvation said is anything to go by, then FCMB as an organisation are dubious.
I've been wondering why I didn't any message from them or why no other person had gotten as well.
I think they just placed the advert to flatter their ego and boost their reputation.
IT'S SUCH A SHAME.

It is sad, really sad that these sort of comments and questions are being posted by graduates...funny abbreviations of words in questions you are supposedly asking your prospective employers...a complete lack of understanding of the rules of grammar...using abominably incorrect sentences to TRY to express yourselves. Someone wrote that one should not be harsh on them but I find it hard not to be because a lot of these 'graduates',while in school, have the time and money to chase girls/guys,buy expensive phones and all that but never take the time to improve themselves yet they expect to be employed immediately after service. The guy that said the best are 2'2 holders....where do you get your facts from? I'm not denying the corrupt trends in awarding degrees but do not generalize as generalization is a sign of gross ignorance. Please, my people, Nigeria cannot change if we remain stupid and uncouth. Do all you can to understand English better before you start to use it or else you will be considered hopeless idiots. Try....abeg!!!!

The standard of education in Nigeria nowadays is nothing to write home about.I want to ask if those graduates posting these sort of comments are the ones recruiting, would they have given job to someone that could not construct an error free sentence? Though nobody is perfect but at least we should know that people are reading our posts, why can't we just express ourselves in simple and correct English. Please let us adjust...abeg

To mr and mrs English, those that are trying to assault others, should note that they automatically failed themselves, becouse they can not simply handle customer's problems. there4 take note.
