We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Asaba, Delta
Reports to: HR and MD

Business Objective

• To support the company by taking responsibility as an integral member of the business team.
• You will be responsible for a range of activities sub divided into three major areas:
  • Client Acquisition
  • Marketing Strategy Formulation and Execution
  • Client Relationship Management
• Researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organizations marketing strategy and providing advice as to how best to reach the target market.
• Work with individuals from across the company to identify and define target market segments, market requirements, key business strategies and the competitive environment for our niche portfolio.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the brand image of the company
• Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of marketing and sales campaigns
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
• Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
• Setting up operations in new states and locations in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Build business intelligence in E-commerce, consulting, logistics market and on how to position the firm for competitive advantage
• Develop and create marketing materials such as sales, and product collateral and ensure brand guidelines are met
• Define customer segmentation and target groups
• Access customers’ needs and requirements for defined segments and target groups
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
• Review and develop short term, medium term and long term business development strategies.

Requirements

• A minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or any other related discipline from a reputable university with a minimum of 2nd class lower or upper credit
• 5-7years of work experience
• Exceptional creativity and innovation
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
• A strong ownership mindset
• Proven work experience as a business developer
• Previous work experience in the banking industry, insurance company etc is an added advantage
• A Master's Degree from a reputable institution is highly recommended
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.
