Job description
Providing legislative and work support to the operational fields, control and ensure quality of work carried out both onshore and offshore meets local and international standards.
Coordinate all recertification requirements for both onshore and offshore and liase closely with DPR with regard to recertification of existing facilities and acceptance of new facilities.
Provide assistance with certification and commissioning input to Facilities Engineering Operational projects.
An integral part of the Asset Integrity Management Team working closely with the Production, Maintenance Engineering, HSE , Facilities Engineering, Procurement & Logistics teams and third party contractors
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Support asset integrity/maintenance engineering, offshore and onshore for all CMMS and integrity / certification requirements.
Will be required to travel to each of the locations as and when required to integrate with the field maintenance teams.
Co-ordinate the spares, materials, resources, inspection / certification requirements for both onshore and offshore locations.
Implement a planning regime for inspection, recertification activities into a 90-day activity plan, 12 month look-ahead and 5 year long term plan, which should be driven by the CMMS.
Assist to develop a functional asset register, with the assistance of the M.E. Planner, and a program of recertification in line with DPR requirements.
Set KPI’s for equipment / plant recertification and contractor based on schedule of recertification and performance of contractor.
Develop, maintain and manage a fit-for-purpose and cost effective Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all respective assets.
Plan and schedule the inspection and re-certification of all the companies’ facilities in line with legislative requirements.
Responsible for implementing upgrades, updates and patches to the CMMS software.
Review Planned Maintenance Routines for all equipment to ensure they conform to standards and specifications and load same onto CMMS.
To plan, organize and monitor both routine and non-routine maintenance with a view to achieving optimum utilization of assets at minimum asset life cycle costs while ensuring that they meet operations, safety and environmental standards
Schedule and monitor maintenance activities to ensure conformance with statutory and asset integrity requirements.
Ensure that adequate contractual services cover is in place to support relevant disciplines within area of responsibility.
Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:
Accident free production operations.
Timely provision of reports
Information documentation in CMMS and providing when required on all equipment
Update CMMS data on personnel, equipment and procedures.
Requirements
An HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline is essential with at least 10 years operational experience in the oil industry.
Level II UT/MPI/DPI/RT ; API 510 & 570 Authorize Inspector
Operational maintenance management experience with a bias towards inspection and CMMS.
