An indigenous Nigerian Oil and Gas company in the upstream sector, operating in the Niger Delta region is currently looking for the best candidate possible to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Senior Staff Production Engineer

Location: Niger, Delta

Job Descriptions

• The successful candidate will be in senior management and can move quickly to executive management position, depending on performance.
• He or She will report directly to Assistant General Manager, Field Operations based at the same location.

Attributes:

• The right candidate must possess proven attitudes for performance at high levels of upholding flawless field operations and great environmental indicators.
• He or She must be versed at leading teams through best Standards of Business Practices.

Eligible candidates must first show evidence of the following:

• Minimum of first Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with at least second class lower
• 10 years or more experience as a Production Engineer, working with an E&P organization
• Strong technical knowledge in the areas of downhole and surface production technology, including knowledge of hydrocarbon processing equipment and their operations
• Effective oral and written communication skills with previous experience delivering technical presentations. Strong Project Management skills
• In addition, good knowledge of Drilling Engineering and Drilling Operations will be decisive advantage
• Good leadership & interpersonal skills with the opportunity to move to managerial level position for right candidate.
