XL Enterprise Solutions Limited is a multi-faceted consulting firm, consulting for reputable organizations; our Human Resources Unit has the brief of our client, a fast growing reputable law firm based in Lekki Phase 1 Lagos, providing legal and professional services to reputable corporate organizations and eminent individuals in its expansion programme seeks to recruit experienced legal professionals for the post below:

Job Title: Senior Legal Associate

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description

• Providing high quality legal service to clients on a wide range of matters;
• Handle corporate legal processes;
• Carry out all duties given by the Partners in the Firm.
• Preparation of legal opinions on different legal work and commercial transactions;
• Supervision and co-ordination of the Associates on all corporate matters.
• Reviewing all documentations prepared by Associates to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the development of policies and trainings for Associates in the firm to improve efficiency.
• Keeping the firm up to date with changes in law.
• Attending and representing the Firm at client meetings.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm by attracting additional business from new and existing clients.

Qualifications

• A Law Degree (LLB) from a reputable university
• Master's Degree in Law(LLM)/Master's Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Male or Female.

Required Key Competencies
Applicants must possess the following skills, attributes and competences, without which it will be impossible to flourish at the firm:

• Must have minimum of 10-12 Years' post NYSC experience in Banking & Finance, Energy & Natural Resources, Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets ,Corporate & Commercial;
• Maintain high standards of professional conduct.
• Must be strategic and commercially aware.
• Excellent research, legal drafting and negotiation skills;
• Highly responsive, and posses good work ethics, self-motivated and be a workaholic.
• Must have a keen eye for detail, and constantly be in pursuit of perfection
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in using Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
