Job Brief

• Vice President (VP) of technology will be responsible for overseeing all technology-related operations within NEO360 by ensuring full compliance with company standards and policies. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are up to date and used appropriately.
• Strategic, innovative thinking and strong business acumen needed to increase the company’s revenue base are essential for this role.
• We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, you are our man.

Job Description

• Oversee the development and improvement of the company’s technology.
• Developing the company’s Technical Strategy for sourcing, innovating and using new technological resources to advance the company’s long-term revenue and growth goals.
• Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely.
• Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure.
• Source, hire, motivate, recruit and lead the Technology Team.

Responsibilities
The VP Technology will:

• Work hand in hand with the CEO and other executives to develop a technical strategy for meeting end users’ needs and achieving the company’s overall business objectives.
• Work with all facets of the business and have cross functional responsibilities for IT and
• Management as well as external partners in making sure that the information technology infrastructure and digital property is fully operational.
• Oversee setting up the IT guidelines in structural management for the entire IT equipment’s which involve computers, peripheral devices, telecommunications, servers, internet and all data centers.
• Keep an eye out for new technological developments that can help the company improve efficiency, customer satisfaction and invariably yield competitive advantage.
• Adopt strong digital marketing strategies to build a strong online presence.
• Ensure that the IT vision is synchronized with the company business directive and will be the primary decision maker in ensuring that the technology standards of the company will be able to provide its technical requirements.
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency for optimal workforce productivity.
• Build quality assurance and data storage protection.
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
• Determine metrics to measure the company’s technology, comparing actual results to forecasts and internal benchmarks while directing teams to solve issues as they arise.
• Monitor technology trends and performance, which can include assessing user adoption, daily users of software or service, or areas where the company is not fully utilizing its technological capabilities.
• establish and implement company-wide standards and practices related to the organization’s technologies. This involves big-picture planning, as well as more focused decisions about the user interface elements of the company’s technologies.
• You will also monitor these standards and practices and adjust based on changing circumstances or company activities.
• Be expected to be the public face of the company on technological projects and developments.
• You will also have to highlight new technologies or products offered by the organization as well as manage every negative publicity related to the organization’s technologies.
• Recommend ad-ons to the company’s minimum viable product through the VP Operations.

Education

• B.Sc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
• MSc/MBA, project management certificates or other relevant graduate degree is an added advantage.

Requirements/ Skills:

• Proven experience in Fintech/Product Design or Product Development (minimum of 2 years)
• UI & UX expert
• Front End & Back End software development abilities
• Well familiar with the software development life cycle
• Good understanding of JavaScript, Python scripting language, Html and software engineering
• Good understanding of request handling and page updates using Web APIs and Callbacks
• An Avid learner and a mentor for other developers.
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning
• Ability to conduct technological analysis and research
• Innovative thinking that recognizes emerging opportunities as well as implementing changes.
