Job Position: PLC (Controls) Engineer

Ref: PLC/05
Dept: Engineering
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

Providing support on PLCs and control systems for efficient operation, maintenance, upgrade and replacements
Ensuring control systems and PLCs are installed and maintained in compliance with Global Best Practices and statutory codes

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics/Instrument Engineering
Recognised training in PLC design and support
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Marine/Power industry environment
Working knowledge of IEC Electrical and control system standards
Working knowledge of PLC systems including knowledge of instrumentation, programming and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
Understanding of Electrical protection, isolations and control system safety integration including installation and inspection procedures
Practical knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCad, PLC, HMI and SCADA software
