As part of the ongoing business re-engineering, our organization wishes to recruit qualified candidates in the capacity below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Abuja

Job Description/Responsibilities

The General Manager will be the head of our Abuja office and will be responsible for carrying out the overall strategic management of operational responsibilities of the organization in the entire Northern Nigeria as directed by the Group Chief Executive Officer.
He or she will oversee the annual operating budget of the Abuja office and Northern Nigeria.
He or she will implement the ongoing structural reorganization and business process, re-engineering in the Abuja Office and Northern Nigeria.
He or she will work with the company management to uphold and achieve the company vision, mission and the operating values.
He or she must be a strong leader and a team player with the ability to relate with people at all levels internally and externally.
He or she will make financial decisions to ensure adherence to budgets and internal control procedures.
He or she will lead the marketing initiatives and implement revenue drives to support the achievement of business goals.
He or she will monitor performance benchmarks, cost variances and internal/external stakeholders' management.
He will prepare periodic operating reports to the management
He or she will conduct market research to optimize company resources.
Perform other duties as instructed by the Group CEO.

Qualifications

A minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or an MBA is required.
Other relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience:

Candidates should have 10-15 years experience with reputable organization (s).
