We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Specialization: Accounting

Job Description

• To ensure that all bank transactions records of IBEDC and corresponding banks are accurate and consistent with laid down treasury policies/procedures of the company  

Responsibilities

• Facilitates IBEDC payments for all IBEDC’s obligations liaises with Accounts payable to ensure all approvals and entries are properly captured
• Monitors Cash / Cheque lodgments into IBEDC’s Bank Accounts
• Monitors daily cash balances and performs daily reconciliation of Bank Accounts
• Maintains day to day banking relationships and operations
• Assists in carrying out cash movements between Bank Accounts
• Liaises with Accounts Receivable Section on trade/sales returns reconciliation
• Reconciles all bank transactions and prepares periodic account reconciliation report

• Banking industry and operations Knowledge of bank tariffs and financial regulations
• Investment & Risk Management / Portfolio Management
• Financial Management Process knowledge
• Financial, Management, and Cost

Qualifications and Requirements
Educational qualification:

• A first degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline

Desired Experience:

• At least 3+ years of professional experience in liquidity management or related finance field
