PreDiagn (prediagn.com.ng) is a growing health tech company providing ease of access and convenience around the use of diagnostic testing for clinical care and health checks/wellness purposes.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Intermediate Full Stack Web Developer

Location: Oyo

Position Summary

• This is a hands on web app development role and the candidate will be required to develop practical solutions through existing and/or new application systems technology and will be responsible for the development, testing and ongoing support of such solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coding and implementing new features
• Building and architecting backend components to add support for new product features and functionality
• Implementing standards and best practices for security, data privacy, and to improve and maintain code quality
• Working on making the codebase maintainable, modular, extensible and well tested to support our growing team of engineers
• Automate tasks such as server configuration and deployment
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting infrastructure
• Engage in upcoming projects infrastructure to ensure they are scalable and fault tolerant
• Work closely with other teams to make sure our systems are monitored and supported 24x7
• Optimizing performance at the application layer
• Ensuring good deployment practices are always in place
• Working on making the codebase maintainable, modular, extensible and well tested to support our growing team of engineers
• Author technical design documentation that fully defines all application code and the underlying methodology for the design decisions made.

Requirements

• A smart and driven developer that is motivated to build a great codebase
• Experience with building web applications
• At least 2 years experience working with Laravel
• An understanding of database design and performance
• An obsession with uptime and code correctness
• Experience in implementing REST APIs
• Development skills in HTML5, CSS3 (including Bootstrap), JavaScript (jQuery, Vue), PHP, SQL
• Familiarity with Scrum
• Knowledge of Bash, Git, AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, iAm)
• Solid communication and troubleshooting skills
