Department Description

• NetOps is responsible for providing reactive and proactive network support to Oracle's internal network. Team is responsible for high level SR resolution and escalations, device and project auditing, documentation and capacity management.

Brief Description

• Work with a world class team to develop, implement, and support cutting edge Oracle technology.

Detailed Description

• Manages a team maintaining and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems.
• Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.

Job Requirements

• Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements.
• Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers.
• May interact with senior management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Detailed knowledge of several applications within a business area needed.
• BA/BS degree and relevant experience.

Additional Details:

• Have four years network experience and at least two years experience leading teams
• In depth knowledge of Cisco technologies
• Understanding of Juniper, Riverbed, McAfee
• Posses experience creating and implementing new procedures

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring team is meeting SLA targets
• Measuring progress on all auditing work
• Ensuring escalations are being handled
• Reporting progress for their team
• Interfacing with other operations managers.
