Job Summary
  • The post holder shall be responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s agent network pan Nigeria and working towards opening new market in West African countries
  • Recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
  • Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Establish, maintain and manage relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Provide a monthly/annual sales plan and quarterly updates, revision and modification to the plan
  • Monitoring and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with existing and potential Trade partners across Nigeria
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations , Manage and coordinate all of the field sales, inside sales and telemarketing, and all agent support functions of the business
  • Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies and using such for competitive advantage
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
  • Ensure daily reporting from Regional Business Managers and field sales managers to track daily sales/ business
Job Requirements
  • Minimum educational qualification: BSc or HND in Marketing or any Business Related discipline
  • Product and service knowledge very essential
  • Excellent Negotiation and persuasion Skills
  • Post holder must possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales and marketing
  • Previous experience working in the same capacity in a FINTECH company is an added advantage
  • Team work and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Business intelligence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic Thinking and Result Driven
  • Customer/Client focus.
